The exterior, like the interior, is traversed by thirty-six windows that run between the concrete ribs and crown the domed roof. The floor plan is oval. The richness of the stained glass windows is joined by that of the floor tiles and the sculptural ornamentation, which represent religious themes, most of which are related to the Franciscan order and the Canticle of the Creatures, by Saint Francis.
